Confucius was a man born about 550 B.C. into a long line of farmers. He grew up and one day he thought that people should follow what their ancestors followed. He also thought that everyone had a duty in life. Like how children have the duty of respecting their parents. Parents duty was to love all of their children. Rulers duty was to lead all their people wisely and correct. Everyone had a duty to follow traditional beliefs. He believed if all of man would do this their would be peace. He thought that all men could also take part in the government. Soon it led to a system of examinations to choose government officials.

The great wall also had a road built on the top of It. He also built towers on top of it. People such as Artists, Builders and Poets went across the canal to share their works and expand what they've done. In other words their economy grew very much by this transportation system. Li bing was the emperor during this. He created this canal not only for business, but to unite all of China. Soon his dream came true. This helped unite Ancient China and helped create more jobs.
Laws
Hanfeizi was the one person that created legalism. Legalism was where some things were legal and what was not. This way there was more right doings and less wrong doings. Like our laws now, these laws were only trying to keep the world safe from destruction and from all dangers. When he made these laws his only thoughts were how much people hurt others by doing their bad deeds. By making these laws he also gave bad or harsh punishments to the ones who didn't follow what they were told to do all the time.

That is its source. All the water comes straight through those mountains. The name Huang He came from the color of silt that flows downstream. This river flooded a lot. Millions of people died from floods. The floods were often and unknown. They didn't have an idea till later in Ancient China history. A good part about the river is that it carried rich soil through the water. This was good for peoples crops. Their crops grew faster and better.
